The PAOGA proposition, protecting an individual's Personal Information, has not changed from Matt Mower's writeup over 3 years ago which I came across recently.
What has changed is:
- Consumer attitude to data abuse.
- Organisations (public and private) attitude to the costs and risks associated with 'holding' personal data.
- The emerging 'user-driven' VRM (Vendor Relationship Management) community.
- Cloud Computing
